From Diagrams to Details: Exploring Plant Anatomy

Posted on May 8, 2026May 8, 2026 by Helen

In the lecture hall, we moved beyond the diagrams of our coursework to perform hands-on dissections of leaves, stems, and roots. By observing the cellular structures ourselves, the mechanics of nutrient transport and photosynthesis became tangible. Understanding these foundational building blocks is essential for any conservationist looking to manage larger botanical landscapes or restoration projects.
