I am thrilled to announce that I have officially joined the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA) as an individual member. As one of the oldest and most influential environmental organizations in the country, WESSA has been at the forefront of conservation for a century. My membership is a commitment to their mission of “People Caring for the Earth.”
For me, this isn’t just about a certificate; it’s about aligning my work in mycology and horticulture with a national movement dedicated to biodiversity protection and environmental education. Being part of this network allows me to contribute to a larger conversation on sustainable development and ensures that my professional journey remains rooted in proven conservation ethics and advocacy.
